The creation of the werecet Vanity is an interesting story. There was no doubt in my mind that Celeste needed a werecat as her playmate - mixing a little Cheshire Cat and Tigger with a Roman gladiator - but who was going to play him became the difficulty.
I was about to scrap the whole concept of Vanity, when the perfect person for the part literally appeared at my door:
he had a wicked glint in his eye and looked damn good in tights.
BAM! A werecat was born!
